A media event introduces a new product to the world. How does a company attract press and media to their event? Both the product and the way its presented need to be of interest to media. When Shell Oil wanted to introduce a new line of oil products to distributors the created a large media event hologram presentation to create buzz.
The Fortune 500 company wanted to offer an exciting option to their media event guests to make an impression. The new oil product boasted a new breakthrough in technology. Therefore it only seemed fitting that they present it with futuristic presentation technology.
A large scale 3D holographic projection system developed by Trade Show Holograms was utilized to create the 3D hologram presentation. The holographic company is the same company that created the holographic presentation for Dr. Partho Sengupta. Dr Sengupta used the large media event hologram system in his presentation for the American Society of Echocardiography.
When Shell Oil embarked on their 10 city media event tour, word of the stunning holographic effect went with them. This resulted in large crowds attending the press events. The audience saw 3D holographic projections floating in mid air instead of standard 2D powerpoint presentations seen at most press events. The 3D effect could be seen by audience members without the need of any special 3D glasses.
Holograms are a revolutionary new form of media presentation. Normally only found in hollywood movies like Star Wars or Iron Man they have left the big screen to become a valuable presentation tool for corporations looking to make a memorable impression on guests. Companies can now show a 3d view of a new product including X-ray views or animated close up details of a product in operation. Special guests can also appear on stage via telepresence. Beam a CEO or even a historical or fictional character on stage to interact with your guests. Your 3D Stage Hologram presentation is limited only to your imagination.
How you choose the best hologram for a trade show? Holograms attract attention to your booth and have the ability to properly inform trade show visitors of your direct sales message. Before selecting a 3d hologram projector for your trade show booth.. consider these options.
Available floor space for a hologram projector.
Consider how much real estate you can devote to a hologram projector. If you are limited on space then something smaller might do the trick. The Dreamoc HD3 is just under 2 ft across and can easily be placed on a table or counter. The projected hologram is smaller but still very effective in catching the attention of trade show attendees.
If you have a bit more room to spare the the dual sided interactive hologram projector is the next size up. It requires a 5 ft diameter circle of space but projects much larger holograms than the Dreamoc HD3. It doesn’t require a stand or table as it comes with its own base. The holograms projected can be up to 15 inches tall and 27 inches wide. The display is interactive and you can select from multiple hologram presentations via the interactive touch screen on either side. The dual projection system allows you to view separate hologram presentations on each side at the same time. The holographic projection can be seen at great distances from your trade show booth.
Content and your hologram presentation.
Be sure to choose a company that offers turnkey service including proper content creation for the exhibit. Its important that the 3D content projected into the hologram display properly represent the message that you wish to convey to your booth visitors. Shorter, direct to point chapters of content are recommended over one long drawn out message. The interactive touch screen on the dual sided hologram display allows viewers to select the chapter that represents the topic of most interest to them. There are 9 touch zones on the touch screen that allow on demand viewing of any 3D chapter at the touch of a finger. This keeps interest levels high and creates more solid leads, contacts and possible clients.
This years APPEX show was held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. Among the more specialized exhibits was a 3D hologram projector exhibited at the Melling/Durabond booth. The holographic presentation was a popular attraction and drew crowds who watched objects floating in mid air telling the story of the history of the Melling companies around the world.
The hologram exhibit and content was provided by Trade Show Holograms, a company that has been creating holographic presentations both large and small for corporate events and trade shows since 2006. Exhibits are available for sale or as a rental.
