Dr. Partho Sengupta presented a keynote speech with the assistance of our large scale stage hologram projection system. The goal was to make a more dynamic presentation than a standard power point presentation on flat screens on either side of the stage. 2D charts and graphs were converted and projected as 3D holograms floating in mid air. A holographic colleague even beamed in for a virtual appearance as part of the event. The presentation was well recieved and earned Dr. Sengupta a standing ovation. At the time of filming projections were limited to 8 ft in height. We can now project holograms up to 20 ft high.
