The 2019 FabTech Expo held in Chicago’s McCormick Place has wrapped for another year. Fabrication Companies from across the globe attended. Each exhibitor competed in attracting attention to their trade show booth. They specifically needed to promote their new products. Several companies utilized various types of hologram projectors to showcase products. The Fabtech Expo Hologram Projector that stood out was found in the Miller Electric booth.
The dual sided, ultra bright, interactive Hologram Projector was provided by Trade Show Holograms. The high tech exhibit creates the effect of various products appearing to float in mid air. Small items can be projector at a much larger scale. Therefore a more detailed product demonstration is possible.
The 3D exhibit proved successful at attracting attention to the Miller Electric booth at FabTech. Visitors could learn about new products via interactive touch screens. A touch screen is located on either side of the display. A popular feature of the FabTech Expo Hologram Projector is the dual sided projection system. The projector features two separate hologram projectors. Therefore viewers can view and hear separate holograms on each side at the same time. Neither hologram interferes with the hologram visible on the opposite side. This means twice the interativity happens in the same floor space footprint. Because you have twice the interactivity, you double your audience. This increases your chances of new leads, contacts and possible clients.
The Miller Electric Hologram Display featured products from Hobart, Tregaskiss and Bernard. New products were presented in 3D hologram form but with a narrative audio for each projection. In addition to the visual images, the viewer could hear a clear description of the product being demonstrated. Therefore the exhibitors message was better understood by the viewer.

At at trade show the size of Fabtech it is important to attract visitors to your booth. Trade shows are responsible for new contacts, business leads, new clients and brand promotion. In order to earn those new leads you have to first get trade show traffic to stop at your booth. The hologram projector does just that. With Ultra Bright Projection technology the holographic projections can be seen from great distances from the exhibiting trade show booth. The design of the projection system places the hologram at eye level so its easy to see even when others are viewing it. The image projection size is 15 inches tall by 27 inches wide so small detailed parts can be viewed in a magnified version.
The 3D element proves popular at attracting attention to the booth as the technology is not often seen. Many trade show exhibitors use standard 2D video and monitors to display products and unfortunately so does almost everyone else. For that reason video monitors often get ignored by those attending the trade show. An interesting, informative and visually exciting 3D hologram presentation will attract attention and then hold it longer than regular video presentations.
You want to rent a hologram projector for a trade show ? How do you determine which hologram projector is best for your booth? Which one will attract attention to your booth and keep interest the longest? Here are 2 things to consider before making your rental choice.
1. Consider your available floor space. Pyramid Hologram or Dual Sided version?
We all know.. trade show floor space is expensive real estate. You want to maximize every square foot of it for best results. If your booth is going to be cramped or very small you may want to consider a smaller pyramid style hologram projector. The average a mere 2 ft across and 16 inches deep. You can place it almost anywhere in your booth. It may be small but it still has the ability to attract attention.
If you have a bit more room in your booth then the Trade Show Holograms dual sided hologram projector may be a better rental for you. Its dual sided nature allows trade show attendees to interact on each side of it at the same time and with different presentations. It also project a much larger hologram image.
2. Visibility. Can you see the hologram from outside your booth.
If you rent a hologram projector remember that you are doing so to attract attention to the booth. Make sure the hologram can be seen from as far away from your booth as possible. If you rent a pyramid hologram projector make sure its front and centre. It should be near the aisle or on a corner for the most trade show traffic exposure.
The dual sided hologram projector is designed for highest visibility. It projects at eye level so other items or people don’t block it as much. It features Ultra Bright Projection Technology so the image can be seen from some distance. This photo demonstrates how you can still see the hologram projection from several booths away. This is important if you want to attract the most attention you can to your booth.
You want to rent a hologram for a trade show. Are you looking for a gimmick to quickly catch the eye of trade show visitors or are you looking to have the hologram engage them more? Hologram projectors can be interactive and present very detailed visual and audio presentations to a potential client. In addition to the stunning visual of your product floating in mid air in 3D a descriptive audio track is recommended. Viewers like to hear narrative explaining the visuals as you see them. Would you watch a movie with the sound off? Why would you watch a hologram with the sound off. A more complete 3D Hologram presentation will keep a persons interest longer.
3d holograms are great at attracting attention to trade show booths. With so many different holograms to rent how do you know which is the best rental option? Before you rent a hologram for your trade show booth you should consider your real need.
Tips on Hologram Rental Content creation.
You want the hologram to generate more leads and contacts. To do that you need to convey your sales message in a clear and memorable way. Make sure your Hologram presentation is more than just a spinning logo. A good hologram rental company should be able to offer advice on scripting a good hologram presentation. How long should it be? How much info should it cover? These are important questions.
Timothy Drake, CEO of Trade Show Holograms discusses some of his experience in creating the content for the companies exclusive line of 3D hologram projectors. ” Don’t make the presentation too long.” says Drake. ” Get your main sales points out quickly into the presentation and keep the content visually interesting. If you take too long focusing on to many details you may lose the viewers interest before they have learned your main selling points.
Trade Show Holograms Dual sided hologram projectors feature interactive touch screens on each side. Drake explains.. ” This allows the hologram presentation to be divided up into chapters. The trade show visitor can go directly to the part of the presentation that most interests them. Simply select any icon on the touch screen and you are there. All clients who rent at hologram for a trade show find this a very effective and direct path to their sales method.”
If you have ever been an exhibitor you know that its difficult to attract attention at trade shows and then keep that attention. The challenge to getting noticed is to offer trade show attendees something unique, interesting and informative. Grab their attention from across the floor with a dual sided Ultra Bright Trade Show Hologram and then keep their attention with the interactive touch screen controlling the amazing high tech 3D hologram presentation seemingly floating in mid air. This custom designed hologram projector also features BOSE speakers so your booth visitor can clearly hear the narrative or audio presentation that accompanies the stunning 3D visual presentation.
In a busy trade show environment you have a very small window of opportunity to get noticed by trade show attendees. What makes your booth of any interest in a sea of others? A 2D video on a regular television monitor might get over looked. That means the important information you have in that video will also be over looked. A 3D hologram projector offering an exciting 3D presentation floating in mid air has a much higher chance of stopping traffic at your trade show booth. When a possible client stops to view the holographic presentation, virtual presenter or 3D demonstration of your product they will have the opportunity to select from multiple other presentations that may interest them. They simply touch an icon on the interactive touch screen to see and hear the holographic presentation of their choice.
In order to attract attention to your booth its very important that the “weenie” is clearly visible from outside the booth. Walt Disney coined the phrase ” weenie ” as a visual magnet. He made sure to place a ” weenie ” in each area of Disneyland that you could see over the other structures. The goal was to lure you to that Visual Magnet out of interest. The top of Disneys Matterhorn mountain is an example or even the spirals of Disneyworld’s Space Mountain. You notice them from a distance and want to approach it.
The hologram projector from Trade Show Holograms is designed to place the brightly projected image at eye level so it can clearly be seen from a distance from the trade show booth. Competing pyramid shaped models are lower in height and are blocked by people in your booth or by other booth furniture. To really attract attention at trade shows, your item of interest has to be seen from down the aisle or other trade show booths.
Once you have the attention of a possible client in your trade show booth its important to offer them the proper sales message. The creative team at Trade Show Holograms include experts in storyboarding, scripting, 3D animation and 3D model creation.
Ask them how renting a dual sided 3D hologram projector can attract attention at trade shows, create leads and bring in more contacts and possible new clients.
If you want to find the best holograms for a trade shows and attract attention. You need to consider several very important elements when considering which hologram is best for your trade show booth.
Visibility. How well can trade show attendees see the display? Is it blocked by others in your booth? If it is then it is not living up to its potential to attract people. The hologram projection needs to be eye level so it can be seen by those outside your booth, even when visitors to your booth are viewing the hologram. How bright and large is the hologram projection? It needs to be bright enough to be seen from a distance and large enough to be taken seriously and not seen as just a cute gimmick. Most trade show hologram projectors suffer from the above two problems. They are pyramid shaped which cuts the projection size down dramatically. They are also at waist or chest level so booth visitors are blocking the holograms while they are looking at them. This prevents others from noticing the hologram and they walk right past your booth. The dual sided hologram projector from Trade Show Holograms is designed to overcome both of these issues. The image is dramatically larger than other hologram projectors. The projected hologram is also at eye level so it can been seen from a distance outside your booth, even when visitors to your booth are viewing the hologram. The dual sided hologram projector has dual projectors so you can clearing see the hologram image from both sides. The Ultra Bright Technology creates a nice bright hologram projection which aids in visibility.
Interactivity. Your hologram projector may attract visitors to your booth but it needs to keep them there. The hologram projector from Trade Show Holograms features an interactive touch screen on both sides of the display. This in conjunction with the dual projection system allows visitors on each side of the display to interact with different holograms at the same time. Its like having two hologram projectors in the floor space of one.
Hologram Content. So you have rented a hologram for your trade show booth but now you need to decide what to feature on it. Do you want sound? How long will your presentation be? Will you break up the presentation into chapters? If so how many? Many of the pyramid shaped holograms do not feature sound. Sound or narrative his highly recommended. It makes the presentation more interesting if you have narrative to describe and match the visuals you are seeing. Be careful not to make your message too long. Visitors to your booth are potential clients and you don’t want them to get bored with the sales presentation before they have a chance to see the hologram message that would most interest them. Its important to break the presentations up into individual chapters so they can view the chapter of interest to them first and then explore from there. The hologram projector from Trade Show Holograms has the ability to offer viewers up to 9 separate hologram presentations at the simple touch of a finger via the interactive touch screen on the kiosk. See a chapter you like? Just touch the screen and watch it. Want to watch another hologram? Just touch another icon. Trade Show Holograms has a creative team at their clients disposal to create 3D animations and content for the hologram projector.

There was a lot of buzz around our booth and the hologram was the biggest reason for it. From having displayed at this show for the past 15 years with a few different companies in different roles, I know this was the most traffic I had seen. Several years back I received a call from Gene Dolgoff who was interested in talking about holograms. He was speaking of what could be done in the future with holograms. I wasn’t taking his call very seriously but he said to me ” Google my name…. and you will want to call me back” I did Google his name and I did indeed call him back. Since then we have become great friends and he is the very smartest person I have ever known. He is the inventor of many things and holds multiple patents. During a recent visit with him to discuss a new project that he is working on, he showed me an early prototype of one of his inventions from years ago. I asked him to record a short message into my camera about its creation which all of us have used or enjoyed. Here is that video.

3D Hologram Rental for Trade Show Review:
I wanted to let you know that the hologram was a big success. The show was long and exhausting, but your device did exactly what we were looking for. It got people’s attention, made them stop and watch. I was amazed at the number of people taking pictures of it! We were very happy with the device and working with you – your follow-thru and delivery were appreciated. And that voice-over guy you use was fantastic.
